About CBL Government Securities

Treasury bills and bonds are sovereign debt instruments issued by the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) on behalf of the Government of Liberia. T-bills are short-term, zero-coupon discount securities (91–364 days). Bonds are longer-term instruments (2–10 years) that pay semi-annual coupons. These are considered the lowest-risk LRD-denominated investments, backed by the full faith and credit of the Republic of Liberia. Participation is open to commercial banks, institutional investors, and qualified individuals through primary dealer banks. Data sourced from CBL auction results.
